Our client required pulsation dampeners on the suction sides of two reciprocating re-injection pumps. Dampeners were required to mitigate the safety, environmental, and financial risks associated with pre-mature equipment failure associated with cyclical pressure.
Local Engineering completed a site visit and 3D scan to verify site conditions and discuss the required modifications with site personnel. Local then engaged with pulsation dampener vendors and coordinated the bidding process to select pulsations dampeners suitable for the site conditions. Local also completed a 3D model to highlight the proposed changes and prepared construction drawings for piping, structural, and electrical modifications to the system to allow for the installation of the new pulsation dampeners.
